Today was yet another busy day. When I have days like this I think 'This is retirement?'
This morning I had an appointment to get an X-Ray for my followup appointment next week with my urologist. Six months ago I had a procedure to blast out kidney stones that I still had in my body.
I show up at the medical imaging place, sans supporting documents. What was I thinking? I'm losing it folks. Had to go back home and get my doctor's orders. That whole procedure took up about two hours of my precious time this morning.
Then I had to get a blood test for the same doctor. This time I had my doctor's order. After waiting about half an hour, and being the last person in the waiting room, I find that my doctor's order says I am only to have a PSA test. What? I just had one of those October 4th at the VA. I told the employee at Bayhealth and she agreed with me, I could use the results of my blood test last month instead. Now the morning is shot. All the while Bill is waiting in our car. All is not lost though, this was the first time I got Bill out of the house in a couple of days.
I get home just in time for lunch. Then nap time. Up from my nap and on my computer and I'm greeted with yet another UPDATE. More time consumed. Yes, I know I'm complaining.
I check my e-mail. I see a notice from Register.com to confirm my e-mail. Wait a minute, didn't I just do this last week? I check to see if this is a phishing scheme. Apparently not so I call Register.com. I told them I already confirmed me e-mail address last week, why are then sending me this AGAIN. They told me it was a 'glitch.' I finally got that matter resolved and not the time is 5:30 pm. My day is pretty well shot.
Tonight I'm going to relax and watch the latest episode of 'Game of Thrones.' I deserve it after this frustrating day. Where I left off last night king Joffrey was poisoned at his wedding celebration. I HAVE to find out who did that!
